Decorative Art of the Karakalpak as a Historical Source of the IX-X Centuries

Abstract
The origins of the art of the Karakalpaks are connected with the heritage of the nomads of the Aral Sea region of the Massagets-Apasiaks of the 6th-4th centuries. BC. and Sarmatian-Alans of the 6th century. BC. - IV century. AD This is confirmed by the original headdresses saukele, borik, as well as bronze ornaments reminiscent of the "animal style" - bronze anshyk and zhez bilezik, gilded plaques kyran.
